LAUNCH Beginner Strength Training

Right off the bat I want to say I'm EXCITED you are here! Whether it is your first time strength training, or the first time in a while, this program is a great way to build confidence with movement and gain some muscle along the way ;) 

This program has 3 workouts a week. They can be done at home or at a gym. If you don't have weights or bands - no worries! We got really creative during the 2020 shutdowns and I've added modifications for using water bottles, bags of flour, books, chairs, cans of soup, gallons of milk, etc!

There are also modifications for sitting variations so you don't have to get up and down from the ground. 

All movements are designed to be size inclusive and programmed with larger bodies in mind.

You will have a check-in each week where I provide feedback, answer questions and offer support, accountability and modifications as needed!

A 3 month minimum commitment is required.

 

Strength training is meant to be a long term pursuit. The goal of this program is not weight-loss (although that may occur).  The goal is to move with intention, build muscle, create muscle memory with the 7 basic movement patterns, reduce risk of injury, increase fitness capacity, improve confidence and comfort in your body and build a consistent, realistic, sustainable routine for working out.
